Looking for clarification on AOE's
I have two concerns raised by reporting facilities and I want to make sure I respond correctly. Any guidance will be appreciated.
1. Concerning the ICU question, is this question conditional on the "if hospitalized" question is answered "Yes"? Or should it be answered in all records?
2. For the question, "Employed in healthcare?" - if the response is "Yes" and the facility/lab wants to add the optional question "what is your occupation?, is it acceptable to default to Healthcare Professional using SNOMED CT 22336609, and not go any more detailed than that?

1) Yes treat it as conditional (I don't know of any ICU that's not in a hospital (I guess maybe a hospital ship, but ...)
2) If the high level healthcare worker is the only code you will support, no need to add that - if in the future you might add n=mire detail and want to build it now, maybe.

Within the same visit, is it alright to pull some question answers forward (such as congregate living, pregnancy status, hospitalized, etc.) into a new test order? The thought is these answers are unlikely to change within the same visit.
