New Curative Multiplex test

Hello,
This is a question for our APHL-AIMS partners. Curative announced it is putting out a new testing platform for Covid-19 to include influenza and RSV. We are going to get these flu and RSV results in interpartner, correct?

Do we need to ask about other labs doing this flu/RSV testing - think this has come up?

Thanks!

I may be remembering incorrectly but I thought something was sent out to the states for each state to mark what kind of results they would like to receive in these situations?

AIMS will filter out the Flu/RSV results based on how your jurisdiction responded to the multiplex reporting survey that was discussed on the 5/13 CELR call. Based on the rules that are selected AIMS will send or filter out the non-COVID results. At the time of the 5/13 call, Exact Sciences, Sonic Healthcare, Ochsner Academics, and Sanford Health were sending multiplex results via AIMS.

I remember the survey, thanks for the reminder! Did these labs post the LOINC-SNOMEDs they will be using or should we contact them ourselves? Sorry juggling way too many things. :-)

The labs didn't post the LOINC/SNOMED combinations, but each sender's values except Ochsner will be listed in the LIVD file. Ochsner's panel LOINC in OBR-4 will not be associated with the LOINCs in the OBXs. This is due to the lab they are using (Covance) which does not send OBR-4, so the AIMS+ implementation team instructed them to use a LOINC for OBR-4 that was closest to the testing they are performing.

I would recommend reaching out to the labs to get the exact combination of LOINC/SNOMEDs.
