We currently have our nursing facilities sending our DHHS their lab test results done via a Point of Care device and we upload them into our NBS system. The NHSN site does not contain any functionality to upload the actual test results currently. If anyone can clarify this we would really appreciate it.

Thanks!

MSH-3 will be NHSN system OID per the smartsheet: NHSN row on APHL's published list of Centralized ELR reporters (https://app.smartsheet.com/b/publish?EQBCT=6a622ae0402147fd90aac0f3a527642f)
MSH-4 will be the CLIA of the LTCF. per the workbook attached to the NHSN row on APHL's published list of Centralized ELR reporters (https://app.smartsheet.com/b/publish?EQBCT=6a622ae0402147fd90aac0f3a527642f)
Since NHSN facilities are still being enrolled this workbook will be updated on a daily basis for a while.
NHSN is working on including the namespace for MSH-4.1 and once available will be included in the workbook; MSH-4.1 is being populated in the HL7 messages already.
InterpartnerFilename will be InterPartner~CentralizedELR~NHSN~<Receiver name e.g.GA (http://e.g.GA)>~Prod~Prod~<date>~STOP~filename
Does that help?
