NPI for pharmacist administered POC?
We're onboarding Prescryptive and they kicked back on our requirement for NPI:
"For this, these tests are self-elected for by the patient through our mobile app., where they schedule time with a pharmacy near them (and that is onboarded to our platform). At the appointment, the pharmacist administers the test (these are rapid POC tests, so it is not sent to an outside lab). That said, is there a recommendation you would have for this section? With other states, we’ve used “|^Self-Ordered^Self-Ordered |” in the past as well."
Isn't it a CLIA requirement to have a provider backing each test even if they are not ordering or administering?

This does not seem to be an at home test, because the patient is not the one performing this. Self-Ordered sounds like a reasonable approach for ordering provider.
