👋 Quest Cancer Registry Reporting

Hi,
Can someone who has gone through the Quest Cancer Registry reporting project please contact me? I have a few questions. the first one is - how did they distinguish the CR messages from ELR? Did they follow HL7 conventions?

Sample MSH segment. The “PCR” may be unique to PA but the “ELRPA32” is the string we use to redirect messages from the AIMS route in Rhapsody to the Cancer programs file folder on their server. My understanding is that the “ELRPA32” will be unique to each state and the value should always contain “32”.

We're not live yet, but our intent is to divert the cancer batches to our CR without reading them (also in Rhapsody). Quest will use a file naming convention that will let us differentiate cancer from infectious disease batches.

Alaska is in production, and we have Rhapsody configured to route to the Cancer folder without reading. Quest's file naming convention has been pretty helpful- all cancer results are in separate files with the word "CANCER" in the name.
