S3 -- anyone have info?

Hi,
PHINMS, although a beloved workhorse, is not working that well for one of our major hospital systems. Anyone have info on an alternative such as S3? I don't want to use sFTP because that does not give us the same monitoring capabilities. Or other options. Thanks!
