We started onboarding in early January, and began receiving production data mid-February.  We're receiving HL7 files via SFTP.  There were some delays with onboarding our first facility--I believe onboarding individual facilities takes around 2-3 weeks.

Ohio started connectivity on 2/22/21 and were able to move to production on 3/16/21. During that time, Simple Report team had onboarded about 20 facilities so that when we completed our structural HL7 testing, they were ready to GO LIVE. We treat these onboards similar to the AIMS Centralized ELR project with little to no acceptance testing after the initial onboarded group. HL7 2.5.1 messages are received via SFTP connection and processed instantly in our Mirth instance. Positive and corrected negative test results are imported into our homegrown disease reporting system, but negatives and indeterminate test results are filtered to route directly to AIMS for CELR and to our state Data Lake for calculating percent positivity. The positives and other manually entered data are queried once daily from our disease reporting system and submitted to AIMS for CELR.

I have! Thank you. I think it will be a very useful option for those POC facilities that can't do HL7 and are manually completing the flat file templates: dentists/beauticians/offices etc.
