T-Detect test

hi all,
Adaptive Biotechnologies has been reporting results for a T-Detect test that is TCR beta gene sequences specific for SARS-CoV2

Do y'all consider this similar to an antibody test or a 'PCR' for active infection?

thanks!

Hi Nancy, FL is treating these similar to antibody testing. I confirmed with Adaptive Biotechnology's Senior Medical Director, Dr. Sudeb Dalai, that this assay was not meant to identify acute infections. Thanks!

Hi Nancy,
North Dakota is treating these as serology results. They do not detect active infection.
