Using Lexis Nexis (or similar) to update incoming ELR

Hi,
Do any other states have experience updating contact information for incoming ELR using a batch lookup service from Lexis Nexis?  If yes, was it worth doing? And did you need any tools other than Rhapsody?
Thanks for your input!
Amy

Hi Amy,
we are not using that for incoming ELR, but we are using Lex-Nex as lookup for missing person info from extracts from our surveillance system. We found that the batch lookup was not as useful as the databases available for search weren't as complete as using the Acruint lookup, especially for missing addresses which we still get too frequently. We also use a system called QAS that can search DMV records. I can connect you to folks here to give you more details if you email me.
