"Quality Water From Every Tap" Workshop (Webcast) - Nov 21 & 22
A Workshop of the Environmental Health Matters Initiative
The quality of U.S. drinking water is at risk as our water infrastructure ages and environmental conditions impact source water purity and quantity. This workshop will explore the paths we can take to increase the quality of water from systems that do not meet today’s drinking water standards, especially for communities that lack adequate resources and expertise because they are small or declining in size. Participants will delve into existing scientific knowledge on this issue from a variety of perspectives, including social science and technological development. Our goal is for participants to share and generate innovative thinking on how to improve water quality, empowering leaders with the science they need to move the needle on this complex challenge.
