Hi Michele,
Thanks for drafting the survey. I’m curious about the intention of question 1. Do you mean to ask whether our state agency directly performs environmental sampling in schools, whether any state agency performs sampling, or whether our state requires environmental sampling in schools to be performed? Strictly speaking, in Oregon, our state agencies do not perform sampling but that sampling is required of school districts. If question 1 is directed to states that require agencies to do testing then our response will lack any of the details we could share in questions 2-10.
Thanks
Curtis

Hi Curtis,

Thanks for reaching out. It’s meant to ask whether the state requires testing in schools. There are 4500 public schools in New York State and we wouldn’t be able to test them ourselves either. :)

I’ll note the feedback and revise the question.

Thank you!

Michele,
I think this is a great and comprehensive draft for this information gathering stage. Let's send this out. No further comments. Is there a way to put this in Survey Monkey or some easier survey tool?

Thank you for taking the initiative on this.
