Call topic?

We had a request here in TN by our foodborne group.  We are currently in early stages of onboarding the FDD and will be proceeding more earnestly after the first of the year.  They are interested to learn from other jurisdictions, either informatics folks or other foodborne folks, about how the onboarding went at your sites, what kind of feedback the CDC food program sent back on messages, any new requests that came up, that kind of thing.  If you have feedback on that idea please reply below and we can see if it would fit for an upcoming call.  Thanks!

Not sure, Do other folks have any feedback on FDD onboarding or information received from CDC food program?

I know that on some earlier threads, Nancy Barrett, Epi 4/PH Informatics Specialist Nancy has posted some comments about CT's experience with FDD implementation (CT is an EIP state).

At this point no jurisdictions have completed onboarding for FDD. The pilot sites could talk about the pilot process and implementing, but they haven't experienced the full onboarding process yet.

Right now, CDC is onboarding FDD with individual pilot states taking turns. I believe Oregon is the first, then NY, then CT is scheduled for next March. Given the complexity and size of this MMG, there were a lot of issues to work through and several surprises (how hospitalization was supposed to be recorded, new wording on interview forms with some changes in data collection). We are at the point of finishing creating our test messages, but of course are on hold until Alycia is back from maternity leave.
