OD2A Innovative Surveillance CoP Workgroup Resource Repository

ABOUT THIS COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE In partnership with the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC), the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) hosts this community of practice among OD2A-funded jurisdictions currently conducting innovative surveillance projects. This OD2A Innovative Surveillance Community of Practice consists of 3 focused workgroups that provide a forum for peer discussion on cross-cutting topics, methods, and challenges/solutions across jurisdictions. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ USING THIS BASECAMP + This Basecamp is a tool that houses previous call slides/recordings and allows members to engage with peers. + The Q/A section may be used to facilitate connections/discussion among members. Engagement could include posting new questions/discussion topics or replying to peer questions/discussions. + Members are encouraged to share helpful resources for peers. Members may post any publicly available resource in this space. New Overdose Indicator Toolkit

The CDC Foundation is seeking feedback from state, county, city, regional and district health departments to inform the selection of overdose prevention performance indicators for a national web-based toolkit. This toolkit will include: (1) a set of indicators and data reporting fields to help health departments and other organizations monitor and track successes and challenges in overdose prevention and (2) resources and training materials to support capacity to collect, monitor, and evaluate performance indicators. 
 
To assess the relevance, acceptability, and feasibility of proposed overdose prevention indicators, the CDC Foundation will be conducting an online survey with state, county, city, regional and district health departments, set to be launched in Spring 2023.
 
CDCF is currently compiling contact information for potential respondents from county, city, regional, and district health departments and are seeking your help in expanding this list.
