OISE SAMS Upload Method Now Available!
Good afternoon,
It is our pleasure to announce that the file upload method for submitting data in the SAMS portal is now available! We appreciate your patience through this process as we worked fastidiously to get this up and running. As a reminder, the file upload method in SAMS is an alternative option for those jurisdictions participating in this project who are not able to report the required and/or optional data elements for Activities A and/or B in PHLIP at this time.
Attached are instructions for uploading your files into the SAMS portal as well as the data dictionary and the file upload templates for both activities. Please review all of the attached documents and let us know if there are any questions or concerns. Also, please let us know if you have any issues accessing the "Enhanced Surveillance Upload" module within SAMS which is where you will be uploading your files. Of note, for the upload to succeed, do not modify the upload template i.e., do not change the sheet name, column names and order or data type for each field.
If you have data available, you may now begin uploading your data into SAMS. We do ask that for your first file upload, please send us an email to let us know when you have successfully updated a file so that we can ensure that we are receiving the data. You only need to do this once. Thank you again for your patience!
