APHL contacts CDC’s Epi-Lab Task Force to say PHLs are being inundated with specimens

Hi Partners, 

For your awareness, our members are reporting being inundated with specimens and are requesting CDC release guidance on national virologic surveillance needs with regards to number of specimens to test and what needs to be referred to National Influenza Reference Centers and CDC. We have requested this to CDC--if you hear of this guidance please let us know and we will report back when we do as well.
