Tasks

Carl, Sally, Hayley, Shawna and Kelly - I have created in documents a folder with articles that we can add to and a draft of the position statement using the 2018 template.  We are the core authors but included in our core basecamp is Jordan (CSTE) and Kristen and Paige (CDC) who volunteered to help as CDC SMEs during as we develop this proposal.  Below are the sections of the document.  Which section would you like to be responsible for?  The document already has the case definition the we discussed in the last call with the larger group.  That is section VII.  If we each pick 2 sections, I think we can begin.  Please reply by COB tomorrow for which sections you would like to be in charge.  It would be good to have a brief call early next week, before we get started.  Let me know if you are available either Monday or Tuesday.  Thanks, Abelardo

I think some of these sections may go together, but I am happy to take II and IV if you all think that makes sense. We can each weigh in on the other areas.

I am available next week (Monday all day at the moment and Tuesday morning Arizona time).

Hi all -

I agree with Hayley in that a lot of these sections may need some collaboration among authors. That being said, I'd be happy to round out work with Hayley and tackle I. Statement of the Problem.

III. Statement of the desired action(s) to be taken &  V. Methods for Surveillance seem like they should be worked on together since table 3 is necessary for both.

VIII. Period of Surveillance - should this just read "Surveillance should be ongoing"?

I'm available for a call on Monday (11/19) during the afternoon or anytime Tuesday (11/20), eastern time.
