I am posting counts/rates for MVT from WISQARS and NEISS by agegroups. We discussed that age groups may need to vary depending on which person is injured (MVT-occupant, pedestrian, etc.). For the MVT occupant and totals it may be useful to have these agegroups (0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-69, 70+). These aren't exactly standard but seem to follow the data presented more closely. For MVT-pedestrian and pedal cyclist a more standard agegroup might be okay (0-14, 15-24, 25-44, 45-64, 65+). If we want/need to keep everything the same throughout SER, this group might be best? Maybe we can decide on Friday's call.
