Hey all!

Michigan has offered a few opportuinties for virtual learning as we have pivoted into a new format for education due to COVID-19.  The following are webinars that have been presented, recorded and close captioned for viewing; please feel free to use them as you feel appropriate.

Swine Influenza Tips and Toolkits to Strengthen Response--the webinar audience is fair staff, superintendents and board memebers, Extension county staff, and local public health staff. The webinar highlights tools that Michigan has developed to help coordinate the response between local and state organizations during cases of swine influenza at fairs so that we can all work effectively and effficiently to address situations together.

Biosecurity at the Horse Show and Beyond-- the webinar audience is any horse owner, geared towards a youth audience. The webinar covers what biosecurity practices horse owners should take at home, at the show and after the show.

Biosecurity at the Dog Show and Beyond--the webinar audience is any dog owner, but particularly those who are taking their dogs to dog shows. The webinar covers what zoontic diseases that dogs can transmit to humans, practical techniques for biosecurity with a companion animal, and how to minimize risk when taking dogs to dog shows.

Biosecurity at the show and on the farm--the webinar audience is livestock (beef, sheep, swine and goat) exhibitors. The webinar covers what practices livestock owners should take at home, at the show and after the show.
