The Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) in collaboration with the CDC/NIOSH Western States Division (WSD) and the Mountain and Plains Education and Research Center (MAPERC) is pleased to announce:

WestON convenes to provide an opportunity for Western state and local public health officials to meet and share ideas for establishing and maintaining epidemiological capacity and collaborating with colleagues to expand on efforts to build a strong occupational safety and health network in the West. A draft agenda is attached.There is no cost for attending the meeting.

CSTE is able to provide limited funding for travel expenses (airfare, hotel, ground transportation, and per diem). Funding priority will be given to Western state-based occupational health epidemiologists. If you’d like to request travel support, please submit your funding request by Friday, August 5th when you register for the meeting with the link above. Funding notifications will be sent by August 19.

As noted on the draft agenda, attached, the WestON Meeting is 8am-5pm on Thursday, Sept 29, and it adjourns at 12pm on Friday, Sept 30. Flights can be arranged to the Denver International Airport (DIA) accordingly.
