CSTE is pleased to announce that Boise, Idaho will host the 2017 Annual Conference June 4 – 8. Boise rests at the base of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains along the plain of the Boise River which winds through the city. A very outdoors oriented place with mountains, rivers, lakes and many activities available within the city or in a short distance. You step outside your hotel room in the center of town and find a 25-mile long riverside Greenbelt path, a Ridge to Rivers trailhead leading into scenic foothills, or one of the expansive, interconnected parks lining the city.
The downtown area is very pedestrian and bike friendly. Numerous shops, restaurants, night spots and entertainment options fill the area. Boise’s food scene is diverse and delicious with distinctly Idaho highlights. Many restaurants often use ingredients sourced from local farms and ranches. At night, the downtown core has an active local and regional music scene, several clubs and venues featuring live entertainment.
