My name is Jessica Arrazola and I am a Senior Program Analyst at CSTE. I am the CSTE staff lead for the Applied Informatics Team Training and your go to for any questions. About me...I just took my honeymoon in November to a little island of paradise called Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. It was beautiful, see picture below, and the best part was that the internet was so slow I couldn't even connect to facebook.
Hi guys... my name is Kelley Chester and I will be leading the webinars and working with you throughout this project! I am an independent consultant based in Atlanta, GA. I am very excited to be a part of AITT and look forward to getting to know all of you. One interesting fact about me is that my son is a mini-rock star. He's 14 years old and has been playing in a rock band since he was 9. We travel locally around to watch him play gigs around the city. It is a lot of fun and I am a huge music fan and concert goer.

Hey! My name is Crystal Snare and I can't wait to participate and meet you all! I'm honored to be part of a selected team (WA).
I'm in awe of your vacations and family accomplishments (14 and touring?!! WOW!). I went to Bellingham WA this past weekend and went hiking in Mt Baker natl park - nothing epic, but nice to get out and see more of the cascades!
My name is Peter Krombach and I currently serve as a Health Informatics Epidemiologist at the Indiana State Department of Health. I will also be serving as the project lead for our team from ISDH. I am very much looking forward to meeting all of you and learning what projects you are all attempting to tackle.
An interesting/random fact about me is that I have a mini obsession with candy and chocolate. I probably will have at least 3 different kinds stashed somewhere in my cubicle. My current flavor(s) are peanut butter dark chocolate from Dove and Sour Patch Kids. Also just discovered Sprinkled Donut Captain Crunch and it is delicious.

My name is Aulasa Liendo--I am with the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services, and I currently work as the Coordinator for the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System. My role in this project is to provide coordination and subject matter expertise on surveillance system database management when needed.
A random fact about myself: before I became an epidemiologist, I was a NAUI divemaster and rescue diver. My favorite place to dive (so far) is Thailand.

Hi, fellow AITT-ers!
I am Amanda Jones with the Washington State Department of Health. I will be our ELR representative for our team. I am super excited to absorb all things Informatics and to have volunteers for my informatics nerd-out sessions. For some super weird reason people I meet in public often seem distracted when I spend 20 minutes explaining ELR. So strange...
My random fact is that a jazz ensemble I was singing in opened for Natalie Cole. I was the soloist for, "I Feel Good" by James Brown during that performance. (That particular song was requested by the group that hired us - the morning of our performance. We figured it out fast.)
Random fact number 2: I won the Hamilton lottery this past November and a friend and I traveled down to LA to see Hamilton from the second row. So amazing!
Random fact number 3 (because this one is PH-related): I went to Disneyland for the first time in December...and brought home norovirus. Still one of my all-time favorite trips, partially because I received a giant hug from Chewbacca (pre-norovirus).
My name is Tazlina Mannix. I work for the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services as the Alaska Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) coordinator. Our project focus is surveillance system improvement, specifically a rebuild of three YRBS relational databases. Since I've worked with our old YRBS databases for 2 years and will be using the new databases in the future, I anticipate being involved in nearly every aspect of this project, from planning and design to testing and documentation.
Two fun facts about me:
I'm a lifelong Alaskan, and I'm named after a glacier, river, lake, peak, and community in Alaska.
Before my public health career, I was a professional cross-country ski racer as a member of the U.S. Ski Team.
In my free time, I like to get outside. I enjoy mountain and snow biking, mountain running, pack rafting, camping, backcountry skiing, and mountaineering.
My name is Katie Cueva and I'm a CDC/CSTE Applied Epidemiology Fellow at the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services. Hello all, this is Shannon, Michelle, Laurel, Cedric and Dat from the Acute and Communicable Disease Prevention Section within the Oregon Public Health Division.
