Pooling BPA training resources
Hi Business Analysis Peer Group,
I wanted to reach out and gauge interest in combining resources for an in-person BPA/BPM training. While the PHII training others have expressed in is useful for an overview of system development, it only touches lightly on the full BPA side of things.
I've reached out to some people I know at PHII to ask about the feasibility of a personalized in-person training that would focus on BPA/BPM, i.e., more focused on their methodology. The ballpark estimate was $15-25k depending on specifics. This would only be feasible if a few groups wanted to go in on the training. Could you please let me know below if a) this is something your team might want, and b) if you have any questions.

As much as I like the idea of getting together (!!), what we've discussed (WA DOH) is doing the PHII CRDM training on our own (it's free, short, relatively painless) and relying on our IT department's overview of the process to guide us. I think we're all planning on _very_ different training (everything from LOINC training to HL7 fundamentals class to conference registration costs (HL7 and PHI) to other online training in SQL).
I'll let other WA members chime in if they are interested, but I think from our initial discussions we're pursuing pretty individualized training.
