Conference Speakers--Specifically Health Equity focused

My division is working on planning an Infectious Disease Summit for May 2023 (our third summit, 2017, then 2019). We are looking for a keynote speaker and are running into some road blocks for those that we previously identified. We are hoping to find someone who has a public health/health equity focus. We're also open to a general infectious disease expert, but would love to highlight efforts related to health equity/DEI. 

I am curious if anyone in this cohort knows of a potential keynote speaker for this topic, or has attended any presentations/conferences (in person or virtual) that you might recommend? We are reaching out to some contacts through CDC and CDC Foundation as well.

Also, the Summit will be free to attend, so if you are nearby and want to attend let me know and I'll send out the registration once it opens! May 9-10 in Carmel, IN.

This sounds amazing!! I remember seeing an amazing speaker at a prior CSTE conference in Alaska. She presented on oral health and health equity. I am forgetting all the details because it has been a few years but do remember it was great!

As another option ... would a specific high-risk population like the incarcerated be of interest? I knew some amazing people who worked with ID in the correctional setting.
