Geospatial Applications in Epi Book Chapter
Hi all, thought some CSTE LEAD members might know somebody who's a good fit for this opportunity I received through an APHA discussion board:
Dear Colleagues,
Greetings! I am working on a textbook, entitled "Statistical Approaches For Epidemiology", which will be published soon by Springer. There are 25 chapters which are almost ready; however, one of my authors became sick and can't complete the chapter on "Geospatial Applications in Epidemiology".
If you have experience and training in this field, please feel free to contact me immediately. I also wanted to see one or two published papers where you have used concepts and examples of GIS and other Spatial analyses tools.
The book chapter is approximately 16 pages (550 words per page) - using concepts and real-life examples from your own research. More than one author is permissible. I can only give you two-weeks time to submit your full manuscript to me. We'll talk more details about the format once I hear from you. I'm very sorry for the crunch of time. My email address: amal.k.mitra@jsums.edu
Thank you so much for your time!
