MA has not made any changes to COVID reporting requirements since the HHS guidelines were shifted. I'd be interested to hear what stance other states are taking and what the impact has been.

We (NM) are also very interested in this topic of discussion with other jurisdictions.

TN had already requested that no antibody tests or negatives be reported via state guidance. Some have been willing to comply, others were concerned about the Federal mandates and so chose to continue reporting all results. We still have the conflict with some negatives being in the Federal rule, but hopefully these changes will allow some providers more comfort in discontinuing some reporting. Overall, with our initial requests for changes we had many labs comply and did not see a huge change in our overall statistics for cases, but have seen drops in lab processing times and inactionable data clogging up our user workflows.
