What is the precedent for labs sending pregnancy status for conditions that require pregnancy status (for eg. Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV)? Has any jurisdiction been successful in getting their labs to send pregnancy status other than AOE questions? Maybe through their IPs via paper?

NYC DOH has pregnancy as a health code requirement for certain diseases and we have been receiving the information in OBR-13 (Relevant clinical information) for some time now from various labs.
