Covid Lab Reporting Changes
hi all,
Based on conversations the ELR community members attending CSTE had yesterday on the ELR meet and greet and the ELR round table discussion, I drafted a statement that Bryant Karras said he and Steve Eichner would be willing bring to the PH Data Standards workgroup (that is not the complete name) in particular about dropping the requirement for capturing/reporting negative test results and AOE from labs.
The document is posted in the Other documents folder. Open for comments/changes. And I'm attaching it here as well. I'm willing to capture changes in a final document if you want. I'm also open for a call on Friday if needed.
This does not have to be perfect or capture all of the items we as a community want to start being proactive about, but to start to deal with an immediate need.
Bryant said we should get that to him soon, so is Friday a reasonable goal?
Thanks,
Nancy
