We do not have a local instance of ESSENCE in Alaska (we use the national system), but I'm told that Washington, Nevada, and Florida have local instances and might be able to help. nssp@cdc.gov should be able to help!

Hi everyone!  My name is Nicole and I work in Oklahoma.  We are looking to switch over our Syndromic Surveillance from a homegrown system to something like ESSENCE.  I haven't been able to get a price range of how much it costs to onboard on the systems and was wondering if you guys could help.  What system do you use and how much was spent to onboard?  I'm aware that switching will require a lot of work but I am lucky to have a really good relationship with my hospital IT departments and IPs. :)
