A break for now....
Dear members of the Public Health and Health Care Subcommittee,
We know many of you are extremely busy with COVID response while trying to fulfill current job duties. Many of us are experiencing furloughs, adjusting to working from home, caring for family members, and other work disruptions.
Sarah and I have decided that we will suspend our monthly presentations and instead focus on providing resources on the Basecamp site that may be of use for states.
Health care data from Q1 2019 is becoming available and those of us with access to claims data may be able to provide insights about health care services during the pandemic.
I will try to update Basecamp several times a month with either new information or examples of how different states are approaching health care during the pandemic. For example, in Washington state all testing and treatment for COVID-19 is covered by insurance by proclamation from the Governor and Health Commissioner.
Please feel free to add information to the site that may be of interest to others. We will be in touch next year.
