April presentation
Slight change to our April presentation. We will have a group who work with the Chronic Conditions Data Warehouse (CCW) present on the ICD9 to ICD10 transition and how it has affected surveillance for certain conditions.
We are looking for people who would like to present their current projects for either the May or July meeting. It doesn't need to be a finished project. We would like someone to walk through the steps on how they got the data for their project (deciding what data source is best and how they accessed it), how they approached their research/evaluation question (if any outcomes needed to be modified because of the data source), how they prepped the data for analysis (defining population, etc), and how they are interpreting their results or discussion of barriers or concerns that they are encountering in their analysis. I will be reaching out to a few people directly, but if you are interested, please let me (mandy.stahre@ofm.wa.gov) or Sara Shrum (sara.shrum@state.nm.us) know.
Thanks,
Mandy
