Future presentations
Hey all, just a reminder no call in June because of the CSTE conference. We will have a guest from AHRQ who works with the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS) present in July.
Some ideas for future presenters/presentations:
- Pharmacy Quality Alliance - they help develop pharmacy-related quality measures and state health departments (or other government agencies) who are members (which is free for government) can get access to these measure specs for free.
- Prevention Quality Indicators - Prevention Quality Indicators (PQI) are measures of potentially avoidable hospitalizations for Ambulatory Care Sensitive Conditions (ACSCs), which, though they rely on hospital discharge data, are intended to reflect issues of access to,and quality of, ambulatory care in a given geographic area
- Maybe a presentation on how to calculate difference health care costs?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. You can log into basecamp or send an email to either myself (mandy.stahre@ofm.wa.gov), Sarah Shrum (sarah.shrum@state.nm.us) or to Jessica Arrazola (jarrazola@cste.org), and one final option is to set up a time to chat if you want to talk through some ideas.
