CSTE Public Health and Health Care Analytics

Indiana DOH

Is someone on here from the Indiana Department of Health? We are looking for someone from either Indiana or another state that has partnered or used a state Health Information Exchange to give a presentation to the group about their experience. Any ideas or people?

Thanks,

Mandy

Hi Mandy, are you only interested in someone who has done a state level HIE?  Our IT folks did a HIE for our local data, and the person in charge did a great presentation at our informatics meetup a few weeks ago.  I could reach out to her, if you are interested in a local perspective.

Mandy,

Hi! My name is Hannah Henry. I am on the project where we partnered with a HIE system. Our partnership with them could be characterized as a data request of sorts. They are providing data from their HIE system to help us construct hepatitis C care cascades for Indiana. They were, obviously, the experts on the data within their system, while we advised as subject matter experts for hepatitis C. Together we were able to develop the criteria and select the fields to be included in the care cascade and we are in the process of creating an interactive dashboard to display the cascade.

Let us know if you would any further information about the project.

Thank you!

Best,

Hannah Henry, MPH
