GIS in Data Analytics Showcase Series

The CSTE Early Career Professionals Subcommittee is excited to host a Data Analytics Showcase Series featuring webinars on different software utilized in applied epidemiology. The first webinar entitled “Visualizing your Community with Esri” will take place on Monday, December 5 at 1:00 pm EST. Registration is required to attend this webinar.
 
This webinar will feature presentations from health department epidemiologists on their use of ArcGIS desktop, ArcPro and ArcGIS Online. Presenters will demonstrate how their jurisdiction utilizes the software, provide recommendations for continued skill development and answer attendee questions.
 
By the end of this webinar, attendees will be able to: 
  1. Identify the purpose and applications of Esri software products.
  2. Describe applications of ArcGIS to conduct mapping of neighborhood boundaries.
  3. Describe how to use ArcGIS to create points on a map from non-public health data sources.
  4. Discuss at least two examples of how ArcGIS desktop, ArcPro and ArcGIS Online were used to solve public health problems.
  5. Describe current opportunities and resources for professional development with Esri software products.
