January 16th Meeting Discussion (health disparities)

It won't work for the January 16 call, but for future reference, I would recommend Jim Hadler as a speaker on spatial analysis of health disparities. He's done a great deal of work on this topic, mostly following the methods of Harvard's Public Health Disparities Geocoding Project. He's the co-chair of CSTE's health disparities working group, which has lead a few initiatives to get state and local health departments to examine their surveillance data in this way.
