July Webinar
Please join us Tomorrow, July 16 at 1:00pm EDT to hear from Brooke Reams on "Ensuring Confidentiality of Geographically Sensitive Data."
About the presentation:
Mapping address-based data is essential to understanding spatial patterns, correlations, and associations. However, address-based data is typically confidential, and cannot be displayed in its precise location on a map. This presentation explores a method for masking geographically sensitive data as accurately as possible without revealing the personal identity or actual location it represents.
By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:
- Explore a method for generalizing address-based data to the street segment’s center
- Learn how to automate the method for generalized address-based data with Python
About our speaker:

I am currently a member of CSTE and the Spatial Analysis workgroup, but have not been able to access it online, however, I receive all of the email notifications, so I know what is going on. I do not remember who originally invited me to be part of the group, but if you would, please delete me and re-add me to the group so that I can access it. I am also a member of the Health Disparities SC group and that is the only one that I have been able to access so far.
I will also be attending today’s webinar at 1pm.
Thanks,
Endia
