Public Health Geocoding standards

In reply to Eric H. Campfire post about setting geocoding standards for public health...  I don't know if a formal standard exists (e.g. like what Open Geospatial Consortium would develop), but there has been a large volume of work on PH geocoding in early- to mid-2000's, covering the issues we discussed today. Most notable: Goldberg (formerly USC, currently TAMU) published best practices and Krieger (Harvard) has done a lot of work on PH geocoding in her Disparities project.  https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/thegeocodingproject.  I posted a couple of Goldberg's papers in the Doc folder.

Thanks for these. I will dive into them as soon a possible. The Harvard SPH geocoding project is very helpful. When we did our zip code level health disparities comparison we weren't quite sure what weight should be given to certain variables. This is a great resource.
