SaTScan updates

Hello CSTE Spatial Analysis Workgroup!

Some of you might be interested in these new, free resources:
  1. Our recent tutorial, "Prospective spatiotemporal cluster detection using SaTScan: tutorial for designing and fine-tuning a system to detect reportable communicable disease outbreaks"
  2. SaTScan v10.2 release, with many new features described in the version history
  3. rsatscan v1.0.8, if you use R to call SaTScan in batch mode
At the next CSTE NSSP CoP Analytic Tools for Health Surveillance Subcommittee Monthly Call, the tutorial authors will demo features useful for cluster detection and interpretation using sample input and output files provided in the tutorial appendix, cover strategies for system fine-tuning, and reserve plenty of time for Q&A and discussion. Please join us if you'd like; the session will be recorded and eventually posted.
