U.S. Hospital Reporting Dashboard

Saw this dashboard and wanted to share - using the ESRI Data Hub.

COVID-19 Hospital Reporting Dashboard:  Overview HHS Protect provides timely and accurate data for the nation’s COVID-19 response with hospitals reporting:


  • COVID-19 Reported Patient Impact and Hospital Capacity by State
  • COVID-19 Estimated Patient Impact and Hospital Capacity by State
  • COVID-19 State Health Department Reported Testing Timeseries

Multiple reporting pathways exist for all U.S. acute care hospitals, critical access hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and long-term acute care hospitals. Hospitals that reported COVID-19 data to HHS TeleTracking have access to data previously reported and data-analysis tools.

This was a great and simple use for this approach! Thanks for sharing. How are things your way regarding work/COVID? Its interesting here in WV as people seem to be less concerned about the virus and cases are reaching new highs. Definitely, interesting times!

Hey Brian, I think this was suppose to go to another Tim haha. We’re still working from home here, how are classes and research with the covid lockdown? I’ve got a story map developed, as soon as I get an approval I’ll share to get your thoughts. I have been promoting the dashboards, I think I’ve finally started getting some traction with the new person handling the GIS for OMCFH. I may try to present at the next esri conference, I wanted to do the study we’ve talked about looking at the patients home address, physician’s address, and pharmacy address. Which spatial analyst or geospatial analyst tool or tools would you think would be the bet to start with looking at the three address?
