I believe your comments address the same ambiguity: how we will handle cases of pneumothorax/pneumomediastinum in persons who DO meet criteria for EVALI. This revised draft accepts your revisions and tries to address this ambiguity. Essentially, it clarifies that the distinction between Confirmed (pneumo-only) cases and Probable (Puneumo + EVALI) cases, and says we will separate these two groups and do all the analyses separately for each group.
I'm not sure if we'll be discussing this on today's CSTE call. If not, we can try to set something up for early next week. If so, will work with Mia to send a separate calendar invite.

One question I have - should we include EVALI cases that present WITH extrapulmonary lung injury in our initial data collection, and conduct a sub-group analysis? IE compare the EPLI to the EPLI+EVALI and also to the EVALI without EPLI?
