Special LHIT Meeting: COVID Lessons Learned So Far
The purpose of this special LHIT meeting is to discuss COVID Lessons Learned from local health IT departments. We are particularly interested in highlighting projects that are replicable at the LHD level and sharing relevant processes/tools with each other. We have a packed agenda due to the topic, though will be opening the floor up to discussion to listen to other lessons learned.
Agenda:
* Harris County on the creation of an emergency response system (More information on this Model Practice winner here<https://nacchoapplication.secure-platform.com/a/gallery/rounds/6/details/643)> (15 mins)
* Sedgwick County on how their EHR is shaping storytelling and also the creation of their lab information system for clinical services (15 mins)
* Orange County on reviewing metrics to measure performance (7 mins)
* Rural and Frontier Department Project on promoting testing, tracing, and vaccine uptake (7 mins)
* Open discussion on COVID Lessons Learned (15-30 mins)
Planned discussion questions:
* What are your lessons learned from the pandemic so far that can help other local health departments in their planning efforts?
* From HHS ASPR: One of the challenges that we are struggling with is around measuring the impact to patient care from Cyber incidents. It would be great to hear from the participants about any methodologies or processes that they use in their healthcare facilities to assess the impact in advance of developing remediation steps.
* From NACCHO: Is this group helpful for you? How can we leverage this community to help you and your department to succeed?
This meeting is open to all local health department IT staff, feel free to forward along the invitation. If you have additional projects / discussion questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. Call in details are below, looking forward to hearing from you all!

I don't see the date and time of this meeting. Also, can epidemiologists who have been heavily involved in the technology development at their LHD attend?
Thanks!
