Hello everyone! This is Chandrika Rao from North Carolina Division of Public Health. I manage the operations & administration of the Central Cancer Registry. One of the main objectives is to collaborate and integrate the cancer surveillance data with the NC Environmental and Occupational Health Data. Develop a dashboard that will serve as a resource to identify vulnerable population with higher cancer rates by geographic areas and address the major health equity and disparities differences in cancer rates across the state.
I'm also excited to virtually meet and interact with other team members in this program.  Use some of the latest technologies that could improve and enhance the presentation of our data that would help our residents to be better informed about the cancer burden across the state.
