For example, some of your interesting questions:
  • How do you work around defunct systems and software?
  • What's a clever or non-traditional way you've kickstarted conversations?
  • Do you think that the pandemic response has changed your relationship with IT?
...and bits of wisdom:
  • Establishing relationships ensures trust
  • Be patient
  • Meet frequently
  • Ask a lot of questions
  • Think outside of the box

For certain, a common thread of the presentations and breakout room discussions for me was relationships.  We heard about informal environments where making personal connections organically facilitated discussions with the right folks. We heard about more formal processes that, in the end, engineered valuable multi-perspective feedback.

Keep striving to make and nurture those personal connections.
They make IT work.

Pun intended,
