RStudio Terms of Use concerns from our Office of General Council
Howdy do folks.
I'm trying to get RStudio for use by some of our Epi staff and I'm getting a bit of a push back from our Agency lawyers regarding some lines in their Terms of Use.
Has anyone had this experience and want to chat about it over a virtual adult beverage? :)
With all the R users, I can't see how this in an insurmountable obstacle, but I'm wondering if other folks have had a similar experience.
Many thanks in advance!

I think Joe, my teammate, and I may be able to assist you in this discussion.
Pima County ITD about pushed us over about the same request.
We have however pushed back hard and now have obtained R and Python for our Epi’s.

I am curious what the line in the terms of service is that has your legal department on notice. Would you mind referencing the specific line? Just for my awareness in case this ever does become a problem. Also I wouldn't mind joining in on the chat! Feel free to also reach out to me.
