Have any states done an evaluation of eCR usefulness? What techniques/tactics were used to measure it (i.e., surveys to Epi (surveillance users) and/or programs, comparing eCR to ELR, etc.)?

Very interested in responses to this question. Sorry I don't have a perspective to contribute as we have only implemented COVID thus far.
Minnesota did do some early review of data completeness during COVID. The article notes one Health system with extremely low While not in the article, we were able to increase at least one Health Systems ethnicity percent completeness by comparing to ELR and noted there was some missed codes to the ethnicity value set in eCR that the Health system was able to address. https://academic.oup.com/jamia/article/29/11/1958/6651845

CSTE is starting the eCR evaluation project very soon, and the evaluation metrics include eCR/ ELR comparisons.
