💡 How are others handling Occupation?

Hi everyone! I have been getting feedback from healthcare organizations that the Occupation data element is very burdensome for them. The ones I have spoken to collect free text for Occupation in their systems, which seems to conflict with Epic's current delivery capabilities.

Are others experiencing this as well?

Hi Ann!

Thank you for passing this along. I do not have access to the CSTE Connect platform. Do you know if it’s possible to get access without being a CSTE member?

Thank you,
Rachel

Yes, it is possible. You will need to create a account/membership with CSTE via https://www.cste.org/general/register_member_type.asp. You should have the option to chose "Connect Member" if you are not a CSTE member.

Please email Devra Barter (dbarter@cste.org) if you have any questions about joining CSTE Connect for the eCR Workgroup.
