✅ January 2023 Planned Content Release Update to RCKMS Reporting Specification for COVID-19
In accordance with the approved CSTE Position Statement 22-ID-01, Update to the standardized surveillance case definition and national notification for SARS-CoV-2 infection (the virus that causes COVID-19), the RCKMS Content Team plans to update the RCKMS reporting specification (RS) for COVID-19 as part of the planned January 2023 content release. The default specifications in the new version of the RS being released in January 2023 will follow the case ascertainment criteria in Table VI of the Position Statement, and will retain selected optional criteria and logic sets requested by jurisdictions. Please see a draft of the updated snapshot of logic table below showing proposed default and optional criteria, and submit an RCKMS ticket if you have any questions or feedback.
Remember that you can modify your rules in RCKMS to meet your jurisdiction’s reporting requirements. If you would like to adopt the criteria from the Position Statement prior to the January 2023 content release, and need help updating the reporting specification in RCKMS, please reach out to your jurisdiction’s ASA.
