We’re excited to announce the new RCKMS Authoring Interface is now available for use!
Here’s an overview of what’s new:
-
**Updated URL for Production**
-
- The URL for the Authoring Interface has been updated. Please update your bookmarks accordingly.
- Background publishing of reporting specifications: Instead of waiting for rules to publish, now rules will publish the background while you can continue authoring. (VIDEO)
- Re-use previously authored links and references: Instead of re-entering your External References, import previously authored ones into your new versions. (VIDEO)
- Re-use previously authored logic sets: Have custom logic sets? Now, you can import previously created logic sets into new versions. Note, you’ll still have to re-author the S/N/Os. (VIDEO)
- Inactive unused criteria from the specifications Grid: Hide unused reporting criteria directly from the Specifications Grid screen (VIDEO)
-
Import a reporting specification from another jurisdiction: In response to states wanting to make their reporting specifications available to local health departments, you can now import another jurisdiction’s published reporting specifications. (VIDEO)
- Note: We would like your feedback on this feature, as we know there might be concerns with making your rules available to other PHAs.
For an overview of the new features, please review the recording from the March 15, 2022 RCKMS Office Hours. The RCKMS Team will also be providing additional demos and updates over the next month, so stay tuned for announcements on those!
Thanks for your patience throughout the update process, we hope you enjoy the new enhancements! If you have any questions or feedback on the new features, let us know at rckms@cste.org.
Kind Regards,
The CSTE RCKMS Team
