✨ URGENT request: Stories demonstrating public health impacts of eCR

Dear colleagues,

CSTE is requesting your assistance and input on a time-sensitive request from CDC regarding Electronic Case Reporting (eCR). We have received an urgent request from CDC to highlight recent success stories that show the actual impact of eCR at jurisdictions, such as the examples shown below:
  • Recent stories with actual public health impact, e.g., where a condition was detected faster via eCR as compared to other reporting mechanisms
  • Recent stories with actual public health impact, e.g., where a condition was only detected via eCR, and not through other reporting mechanisms
  • We are especially interested in stories related to detection of Novel Influenza A/ H5N1 cases via eCR
We are requesting this information by tomorrow, Wednesday December 11 at 9 am ET.

Please email stories or questions to Shaily Krishan (CSTE S/I Program Manager) at skrishan@cste.org

We apologize for the short turnaround time and appreciate your input, please do not feel obligated to respond if you don’t have something you think is impactful.

Thank you,

Shaily
