Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well.  I wanted to get some clarification regarding the purpose and goals of the workgroup.  Below are some points I gathered from our initial meeting – feel free to correct me or add additional points that I may have overlooked.      

β€’ Gathering materials and publications regarding swine, avian, canine, feline, etc. zoonotic influenza 
β€’ Identifying subject matter experts
β€’ Identifying gaps in the existing guidance documents
β€’ ??? Updating the Guidance for State and Local Health Departments for the Investigation of Human Infections with Novel Influenza A Viruses at the Animal-Human Interface  
β€’ ??? Drafting an outline with the future goal of constructing a compendium
