Position Statements • 18-ID-06: Revisions to the Surveillance Case Definition, Case
Classification, Public Health Reporting, and National Notification

In May 2018, the CSTE Executive Board released the new CSTE Policy and • 18-ID-07: Public Health Reporting and National Notification for
Position Statement Process, the result of a nine month effort to review Hepatitis A
and overhaul the previous process. There are now three mechanisms

Each spring, position statements are submitted to be discussed and CSTE’s Position Statement
voted on by the membership at the Annual Conference in June.
